Re: CD missing in search list of ChaRM

Hi,

 

This issue is still not solved please advice me.

 

The implementation date updated into the table SCAPPTSEG that is why some CDs comes under the search list but for the some CDs is implementation date not stored the table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H and those CDs are missing in my search list.

 

My query why all date information not stored into the table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H.

Hi Rishav,

 

Thanks for the response and recommendation.

This is common scenario across all customer one new implementation in same set systems example (ECC) and mainteance for bug fix and sapnotes how is getting handled and what is SAP suggesstion to its customer when we come across this situation?

Dear Experts,

 

       While configuring satellite systems(ECC) and solution manager in LMDB things are going fine but at the time of I am executing "EXECUTE VERIFICATION CHECK" for the ECC and Solution manager systems the below mentioned issue occurring. Please help me in this regard what need to be done. Please I am providing the images.

  We are facing Multiple dump error in our solution manager -  CALL_FUNCTION_SEND_ERROR. The program name is  /SDF/SAPLEFWK_EXTENSION. We have a tried a lot other ways to solve the issue still struggling to find cause of the dump error . Attached the dump error

I checked the scenarios which you are suggested. Those are working fine and production instance selection also same as above. But still I am getting same error messages.

   Thanks for your prompt response.

 

   I checked the components in solman system but I didn't found the components "SAP UI ADD-ON INFRA V1.0" and "SAPUI5 CLIENT RT AS ABAP 1.00" as part of it.

 

Please suggest whether we have to manually install those components in the system or we need to plan any upgrade to the system to resolve the issue.

 

We downloaded above components and added to queue in saint transaction. When I am trying to install the ADD-ONS those are not available in saint txn screen.

Central Autoreactions stopped distributing

Hi all,

 

We just realised we weren't receiving emails any more about users locking their accounts in production.  So when I checked the autoreaction method was no longer assigned.

 

So I went and checked in Solman and it was defined there in RZ21.  So I reassigned it, the change never went to the Destination system.

I've tried this on a development system and the same thing happens there too.

 

What can I check to determine why the assignments are now not transferring?  I've checked for shortdumps, system logs, rfc errors and I haven't found anything.  Incidentally on another production system it's working just fine as in the autoreaction methods are still there and are sending emails.

 

Also should I switch to using the newer alerting from Technical Monitoring, can someone point me to a guide for setting this up please?

I've looked at Configure Technical Monitoring to react on Work Modes and Information on Work mode settings made during the System Monitoring setup and have set up a custom template but this doesn't produce any emails either!  I couldn't find any other guides that we a step by step.

Hello Lukas,

 

if you are missing some MTEs in RZ20, then always the first things to check are if there is enough space in monitoring shared memory segment on the instance with the affected context and if the data collector was started by the dispatcher and is running without problems.

 

The space in CCMS shared memory segment you can check here:

RZ20 --> SAP CCMS Technical Expert Monitors

                --> CCMS Selfmonitoring

                     --> <SID> --> MoniInfra_ <instance>

                          --> Space

                      double click on "FreeAlertSlots"

 

In "RZ21 --> Topology --> Context oevrview --> Display overview" you can find on which instance the affected context is located.

 

Please double check all relevant points from the SAP note:

Hi Diego,

 

Yes option 1 is the correct approach.

 

Always you have to do development/configuration/sap notes implementation etc in Solution Manager development as per scenario.

 

Further solman_setup in Solman production will definitely capture it ...

 

In addition, it is the same case of all scenario level configuration as well like master note for ChaRM etc.

 

this is a standard procedure and it is completely fine.

Hello,

 

the Total response time in ST03 is calculated for all available instances of the system and for all task types in all work processes. If you want to know the Total response time per dialog step of all task types of the whole system, you have to add all dialog steps in the Total statistics, to add "Total response time" of different task types and then calculate:

 

Total average response time per dialog step = "Total response time" / "Total number of the dialog steps"

Hi,

 

Have you followed the SAP KBA 2165505 which i suggested earlier to you ? You can also consider SAP Note 2111487 - MAI metrics based on CCMS data turn gray due to an excessively long runtime of the provider CCMS_MTE. (Both KBA & note are for Solution Manager)
