Job Monitoring in Soman
Hello,
Can I monitor a 5-minute periodic job in a Solman 71 SP13 with the Job Monitoring setting? I can only find information for weekly or monthly periodic jobs in the help text.
if the Solman Job Monitoring has this feature, could someone write a short step-to-step summary on how I can customize this function?

Thanks for your input. I set up a schedule condition but unfortunately I get this BSP error when I change the status to "customer action".
After deletion of the schedule condition this error does not occur anymore. Did you face the same error by setting up the schedule condition?

Technical Monitoring - Watch Security Notes
Hello
we are using "System Recommendation" where security notes gets suggested.
Is there also a possibility, to display e.g. security notes in Technical Monitoring?
So that we get notified if a security note was released?
Maybe with "Configuration Validation"?

Hello Jan,
Yes, it is possible to monitor a 5-minute periodic job with Job monitoring.
You must set for Start Procedure "by time" for recurring jobs with the recurrence less than a day. That is your case. In this case, the planned start time and periodicity is available when importing the job and these fields would be imported automatically.
If it is a daily, weekly, monthly or event job then the Start Procedure must be "use job start condition".

btw, i'm on Solman 7.1 SP14.
Different errors (S:SERVICECONNECTIONS:063) occured in another Solution Manager 7.1 SP9.
I ran report RSGET_SMSY in dialog and everything went fine. I'll wait now for the next execution of Landscape Fetch, maybe the errors are resolved then.

Unfortunately, the note is not valid for Solman 7.1 (report AI_SC_UPLOAD_SYSTEM_DATA does not exist) and it has no information on what could be done to solve the errors I get.

got it, but I thought I can do this also with one generic store, which gets updated automatically.
And against this I can do the check.
But so, I need to create for each system a target-store.
Do you know, if the update from recommendation->store is done automatically or has it to be done again and again (like in the 1st setup)?

Next thing is...as far as I understand, that if I mark a note as "not relevant" in System Recommendations, that this is not considered.
So I would always get an error, if I have one note which I don't want/ned to implement ... ::/

Workflow-System triggers PPF action - E-Mail gets generated TWICE
Hi all,
I experience a very strange behaviour of the solution manager as described in PPF Action Definition sends E-Mail notification twice
We set up PPF actions to generate E-Mails depending on the status of an incident.
However, everytime a reporter replies to a E-Mail that was generated due to PPF actions and the reporter then switches the status back to trigger another reply E-Mail to the reporter this action is processed TWICE (see screenshot).
Is there any setting within the Workflow of the E-Mail inbound scenario where I can stop this behaviour?

Maybe I am completly blind at the moment...but as far as I understood, I can't track automatically/get informed automatically, if a hot news/security note gets released.
At least note via technical monitoring.... I try to realize this via function module and give feedback.

Exception while pushing DPC configuration to Willy
Hi Experts,
I am facing issue while performing the automatic configuration step in Basic Configuration step of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 which is on SP 11.
I am facing issue at activity "Push DPC configuration to Wily", It is executed with error. PFB below error its says
The Diagnostics Agent "NAME" was not found.
I have also checked the DAA in Solution Manager is working fine and is connected to Solution Manager as well.
Can anyone please help me to get this issue resolve.

Could you please try unassigning the agent in step 3 'Configure CA Introscope', reassigning it and then running the step in 'Configure Automatically' again?
