Hi Artem
working time start at 8AM, it is required ti start at 8AM even through that it is crated after working hours. I did even tested during working hours as well but the issue is still exist.
I am using the correct calender, as it was working with the same calender before patching.
Thanks for your effort in replying.
Hello,
I am trying to register a new Solman System into my existing Solman SLD.Application Server JAVA is being shown in Solman SLD but not in LMDB & SMSY.My Solman is 7.1 SP14.
How can I sync LMDB & SLD data?
Thanks,
Mofizur
Hello,
This type of error can be caused by slight discrepancy between the logical component in ChaRM and the TMS configuration, such as having the client-specific settings for the standard transport layer for the development system for , say, client 100, and the development system is in the logical component as client 101.
Most of the time this configuration will look fine to you, but it is not fine.
So, TMS and logical component are not necessarily fine, and we need more detail to troubleshoot.
Best regards,
Miguel Ariño
SAPOSS is the RFC to SAP.
In the Solution Manager system, it should be copied to SAP-OSS.
Best regards,
Miguel Ariño
Hi Rableen,
In transaction SMSY of Solution Manager , under Landscape components -> Product Systems -> Select your system -> check the first tab Header Data.
You should see active Product versions there.
If there are no entries there , i suppose you can add them. But before adding manually try updating CR content & CIM model version as per note 1701770 .
Hi Karthink,
Please let me introduce myself, I'm Matias Prado, I work as a SAP Product Manager ITIM.
Currently we are implementing the ITIM, we are in an initial phase, integration with sap solution manager 7.1.
I would like to ask you if you have some documentation focus in the managment of the tool that could share with me.
The SAP documentation I've found is too high level, I'm looking something more detailed respect of integration and monitoring by solman of managed object.
That's why I'm contacting you.
I'll appreciate all the help you can bring to me.
Thanks in advance,
A request was sent from Development team to decouple a transport from Charm document. I have selected Transport and tried to de-couple it and got the following error " Unable to decouple request due to not-imported transport of copies DWXXXX". Development team does not want this transport. Any ideas on how to solve this issue
Thanks
Murali
Hi Murali,
Since you have not given the status of your Change document, I assume your CD is in 'To be tested' (Since you have an TOC issue).
This functionality is available in status 'In development' and 'Created' ONLY , since your CD is already in "TO Be Tested" technically you have a TOC sitting in your QA system for testing and at this point you may not be able to decouple this transport request because it is managed by the original task-list and can be only imported via that.
The prerequisite for decoupling a TR is you should have imported any transports of copies before you decouple the transport request, in-case you have moved from status "Created" and "In development"
You may try your luck to decouple it from task-list at Solution manager level (rather than CRMUI).
Please refer for further details:

Hi Faraz,
You have to also disable the standard approval actions with ZMCR (assuming you have copied) , else hiding of the assignment block will only achieve the CRM UI, but in the backend if the standard actions are used your RFC will be waiting for approval block.

Dillip
Hi ,
Can you please explain what does below statuses mean in ChaRM under Landscape Assignment block against Transport requests.
Partially released
Partially imported
Partially in buffer
Hi ,
I am updating the resolution of the problem which i got from SAP.
In LMDB in host column we could see there was duplicate entry for DB server host. When we checked the duplicate DB host (which was not connected to my Technical instance ) i could see it was showing as "Supplied by Outside Discovery". We resolved the issue by deleting the duplicate DB host entry,Technical instance etc and getting all the data afresh from SLD sync in LMDB.I am updating this here because it was a peculiar problem for which i could not find any solution on any platform. There was no error reported in SMD agent log files (e2edcc_db.0.log ,e2edcc_host.0.log , SMDAgentApplication.0.log ) etc but data was not showing in LMDB. Hope this will help.
Thanks
Hi All,
Z_SOLMAN_READ_702 role does not exist in SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 SP12.
Please let me know where to get this role.

Raj
Hello,
You will find this role in 1830640 - Authorizations for SAP Solution Manager RFC users as of SP09
Hi,
our soultion became quite complex in the meantime. Here are the main facts:
- I modified class CL_IM_PASS_ICT_TO_THIRD and put in my own coding for handling errors in case lv_error_occurred = X (e.g. add errors to table ICT_FAILURES, insert a comment into the incident, show message)
- in class CL_IM_PASS_ICT_TO_THIRD I also redife the SAP default error messages and map them to custom ones which I process
- the error messages are processed in method GET_MESSAGE_FOR_ERROR_CODE of CL_SOL_ICT_OUTBOUND_PROCESSOR, here SAP matches all "external" error codes to SOLMAN_ICT E011.. I modified this method in order to catch the error codes as well as the long texts from external service desk (e.g. to get the reason for the error, such as locks etc.)
- as the user status does not work synchronously with the ICT status I check the old db user status and the new user status, in case of an error I reset the user status in CL_SOL_ICT_OUTBOUND_PROCESSOR~PROCESS_INCIDENT without triggering the PPF actions to the old one to allow a postprocessing
- in BSP component AIC_INCIDENT_H I added a "synchronize" button which triggers a new sending process, the way it's executed is defined by an enhancement in CL_IM_PASS_ICT_TO_THIRD (here I check the ict status together with the new user status and assign the corresponding operation, such as ADD, ACCEPT etc.)
- the synchronize button can be used in case of errors during dialog processing, in addition I use a custom report similar to report ICT_RETRY_FAILED_ACTIONS that re-processed failed requests, this report is scheduled as background job
- once the request has been completed without errors the CRM error messages will be deleted, table ICT_FAILURES is updated and an additional text is inserted in the incident's text log
So... yepp it's quite complex

Hello All
In urgent change we moved the changes from development to quality . The changes are not reflected in QAS System. so when im trying ot set the status in development state . I was unable to do so. More over there is no error throwing
Can any one please help me regarding this issue.I have checked the role it has sufficient authorizations too. In action definitions also the condition was set
Hi Mandar,
Please try these steps:
1. Stop SMD Agent
2. Stop SAP Host agent
3. Start SAP Host Agent
4. Start SMD Agent
If the problem persists, you can try to restart the managed system's host, which should clear the problem.

Peter
We want to be able to upload documents from Solution Manager DMS into the SAP Portal.
What is the best method in doing that?
