IT Performance Monitoring - Missing Host Stats

Hi All,

 

I have an issue with one of our production servers whereby the stats for Capacity for the host are missing.

 

I've checked the Extractors in the Extractor Framework and they are all green, I've even re-ran the Technical Monitoring > Setup Monitoring & Reporting steps again with no errors.

 

So I can't understand why it appears to be not working.  The only thing that did cause concern was the fact that the logical hostname for this server was also entered on the DR box and got listed incorrectly in LMDB for this system.  So I stopped and removed the monitoring for the DR server to see if this helped.  Well it has corrected the hostname/IP associated and Root Cause analysis is working properly now.  I should mention that the Capacity stats were coming through for this server or at least that's what it looked like at first.  Turns out these stats were from the DR server!

 

So I am at a loss as to what needs to be done to fix this problem.

 

Any suggestions of where I can look?

Hello Yüksel,

 

First of all, thank you for taking time answering my questions

 

I found a scheme on the marketplace, after hours of investigation, that pretty much sums up the connection needed for A VAR scenario  :

As we can see, there's a VPN connection :

- from the VAR to SAP  (for lv 3 support for exemple)

- from SAP to the customer

- from the customer to VAR (for the EWA ?)

- from VAP to customer, using SAP Global Service Backbone (for remote access ?)

 

So I guess this PDF pretty much answers my questions.

Start SAP through command line. I will resolve the issue. I faced this issue just now. it got fixed after starting sap system through command line

In your screenshot, the first step "Assign Product" is RED ... can you please provide a screenshot of that step showing the error and the details of the error please.

Hai guys, need some help regarding digital signature Tool in smart forms,System will accept or not whenever we insert an device like Pen drive or Cd to insert signature dynamically in Smart form. whenever the pendrive is connected then only it will add signature to the smartforms otherwise no. is it possible or not please let me know.

Hello Giorgio,

 

User DDIC will not work this configuration.

 

Please user another id with SAP_ALL and S_RFCACL authorization.

 

Then couple of errors mentioned will be resolved.

 

Later on you can check on Pr-requisite ST_PI and ST_A/PI software components.

Hi,

 

Check RTCCTOOL report in both solution manager and managed system. Correct the all red alerts and in both the systems. It should resolve your prerequisites issue for managed systems.

 

Then proceed with managed system configuration and see.

Problem resolved,I solved the issue got the solution .

 

 

For SUM SP16 new version minimum requirement of Kernel is 7.21 version and SAPHOSTAGENT 7.21 version with patch number 3 or more ,these are the minimum requirements.

 

So I upgraded SAPHOSTAGENT and Kernel to newer version hence the URL worked out.
