Error "Successor installed for SAP Travel OD INTEGRATION 4.0"

$

Good day!

I am still using the Solution Manager 7.01 with ST-400 SP 0026. We are installing (ESS) HR RENEWAL 1.0 and we were successful in implementing it in sandbox, developemnt and quality assurance. I am already generating the XML for production system, but I am having an error message "Successor installed for SAP Travel OD INTEGRATION 4.0". I did not encounter this error in all the other environments. Is SOLMAN more strict on production environments? I am reading some documents and came across a landscape verification too - add on.

It seems the SMSY is not detecting all the other products thus causing the error.

Please advise if I am in the right track of resolving the issue. May I also ask what you did to resolve your issue?

Regards

Joel

lenin,

what SUM version are you using. I tried again using SUM SP11 patch 9 but still getting the same error.

did you use the 7.21 kernel or 7.21 EXT kernel ?

Also, did you upgrade to latest dbsl (version 618) or no ?

Thanks

Hello All,

I'm configuring TREX with Solution Manager for Full Text Search Configuration for SOLAR01. But not successful.

I've checked RFC with Solution Manager & TREX is working.

Did index activation for IBWSOLAR in SKPR06 ( DRFUZZY & VERTIFY)

Created Search Server Relation in SRMO & checked RFC is working.

Did , complete re-index through SKPR07 for IWBSOLAR document area.

Executed report RSTIRIDX_REINDEX for IWBSOLAR document area.

Finally created batch job for RSTIRIDX

But when checking the spool it's not indexing any document.

Looking for help.

Re: Cross System Object Locking - CSOL - for ChaRM

This is interesting. I recommend to use the transport analyzer tools to look at the transport analyzer tool: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-50311 as well as CharM analyzer tool to find out what object causes the cross system lock. Is the same object in two different transports? Are those transports meant for different systems?

The result could be that someone messed somthing up or that BRFplus does not work mit CHaRM properly and then you should open an OSS message,

Tobias

Hi BV,

The SUM version I used is: SUM10SP11_8-20006676

The kernel used was:

SAPEXE_300-10011367

SAPEXEDB_300-10011372

The key part is that you have to place the kernel files with other patches.

In my case I dropped them in: F:\sw\SolMan71\51048401_SPS12\DATA

Below is all the info about the kernel used:

Application Server MTRSMPRD1_SM1_00

SAP Kernel Information

SAP Kernel :  721_EXT_REL

Database Client Library : Sybase ASE 15.7.0.1260

created in  :  NT 6.0 6002 S x86 MS VC++ 16.00

created on  :  Oct 28 2014 17:40:03

Support Level  :  0

Kernel Patch number : 331

Source ID  :  0.331

DBSL Patch No. : 315

ICU Version : 4.0.1 Unicode Version 5.1

libsapu16 Version : 2.0025  Oct 28 2014 11:57:20

I hope this helps

Good luck

Hello solman experts!

Wir trying to roll out the new Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure for our systems.

After installing of ca. 20 Diagnostics Agent we get the RAM warning within EWA:

Hardware resources have been exhausted with the risk of performance degradation.

From 60 GB RAM we get almost 60 % max. paging.

Can some one tell us which Diagnostics, java version is recommended for all the satellite systems?

kind regards

Technical Administration -> Notification Management is where you can configure external emails (lets say a distro list), or configure it for LDAP integration.

If you have emails assigned to SU01 Ids then you should be able to assign SAP user accounts to the alert.

Oh sorry, yes I misunderstood .

So far as I know there is no such thing as SLA for CHARM, it is only designed for use in Incident Management (aka Service Desk). ... Well unless SAP changes something recently (again)...

But it is interesting your ZMCR shows at least some SLA dates calculated (wrongly, but calculated anyways).

Can you share any links/documents you follow to set it up ? How do you link your Z_INVESTIGATION product with ZMCR ?

Thanks

Elena

Question about a "managed object" in Solution Manager 7.1

Dear experts,

I have been fighting with Technical Monitoring in Solution Manager 7.1 for months and I am getting quite desperate

now, as it is still not ready and there is still so much work with it !!

I am checking the Alert Inbox in the Technical Monitoring work center. I see there a system, called <SID>~ABAP.

When I click on it, Solution Manager is trying to open the WebGUI, but there is an error - it tries to open a wrong

hostname (of an old system that we've already dropped!) and in other cases, it is opening the wrong HTTP port,

8001 instead of 8000. I kept digging everywhere, I checked everything in LMDB and all the settings are correct.

Please kindly let me know where and how to edit this managed object - <SID>~ABAP in order to fix it to the correct

hostname and port, as there are false "instance unavailable" alerts for systems that are up for sure! I'm really going

nuts about it... Thanks a lot in advance!

Did you remove monitoring from the system before you dropped the system? (I'm guessing you didn't)

If you are on SP08 you could try following this - Orphaned items in your MAI

It may also work with other SPs, I have gotten in the habit of not just dropping systems from the LMDB if they have had other services within SolMan applied to them.

Hi Billy,

sorry for not mentioning it! I am on Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 12. I did the update to SPS 12

just because the possibility for sending SMS.

I will try your link tomorrow.

I have also reviewed SMSY and it looks fine - there are the correct hostname and instance

number defined!

So, other experts, kindly take the challenge to help me resolve this...
